NewswirePro is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your photos, metadata, rosters, and event data stay on your devices.
NewswirePro does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
All data created by NewswirePro — including event configurations, rosters, IPTC metadata templates, and logs — is stored locally on your Mac or iPhone. Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly send files to an FTP/SFTP server you configure yourself.
NewswirePro uses local network communication (Bonjour) to connect the iOS companion app to the Mac app. This communication happens entirely on your local Wi-Fi network. No data is sent to any external server operated by us.
When you configure FTP or SFTP delivery, your photos are transmitted directly from your Mac to the server address you provide. We have no access to these connections or the data transmitted.
NewswirePro uses Apple's MetricKit framework to collect crash and performance diagnostics. These reports are stored locally on your device and are only shared with Apple through their standard crash reporting process if you have opted in to sharing analytics with app developers in your device settings.
NewswirePro does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing services.
NewswirePro is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Since we don't collect any data, we have no way to notify you directly — please check back periodically.
